In a clip that feels more Subnautica than real life, Tesla’s latest YouTube video gives you a flying tour through the facility that produces the company’s popular Tesla Model Y — reportedly along with Tesla’s first €25,000 ($26,867) car. It’s basically a PR video for recruitment at the Gigafactory, but it’s a fun ride.
Opened in 2022, Tesla’s first manufacturing location in Europe is full of both human technicians and robots, which you’ll fly by in this drone trip, through casting, stamping, painting, plastic moulding, and more stages of production, all the way to final checks.
